You might be surprised how much technology is involved in getting your taxi to you and on time.
- When you call us, we automatically have your details from the previous journey and know, based on statistical averages, where you are most likely to go, saving time spent on the phone as the telephonist is not required to enter any details.
- Your details are transferred to the operator immediately once the telephonist confirms the booking
- The system, using Global Positioning Systems (GPS), locates he nearest driver that matches the customers’ requirements and send the job information, via GPRS, to the driver in in milliseconds.
- The driver receives the information and drives towards the customer. Approximately one minute before approaching the customer, the driver presses a button on the computer to make the system automatically call the customer to notify them that their taxi is about to arrive.
There are other aspects to our technology that aren’t as obvious, but they also positively impact the level of service you receive. Technology has always been our focus and it is our aim to continually implement newer and better technologies so that we can pass on additional benefits to customers and ultimately increase the level of service they receive.
